Technology
Hyperledger Besu • QBFT • Chain ID 3318
Five validators operate the chain. Every block requires signatures from four validators, a two-thirds supermajority, and is final once sealed: no forks, no reorgs. Validators can join or leave through voting, without requiring a new chain.
VORA Chain runs Hyperledger Besu, an enterprise Ethereum client. Solidity contracts can be deployed using familiar tools such as Hardhat, Foundry, and Remix, configured for the London EVM target. EIP-1559 fees have been active since genesis.
Public traffic is routed through a dedicated RPC node, not the validators. It handles only eth_, net_, and web3_ calls; admin, debug, txpool, and consensus methods remain restricted.
A transaction is included in the next block, approximately two seconds away, and QBFT makes that block final once sealed. There is no need to wait for additional confirmations and no risk of a reorg: one block, and the transaction is complete.
Hyperledger Besu follows every Ethereum upgrade, allowing newer EVM releases such as Shanghai and Cancun to be activated through coordinated network upgrades. Validators join through voting as the network grows, and any EVM standard can be deployed now or later, from tokens and NFTs to complete dApps.
